Tamara savours great stories. She loves cooking up creative projects with her clients and bringing flavour to words. She offers a wide range of content strategy, professional writing and editing solutions for clients including non-profit organisations, media houses, academic publishers, and businesses operating in sectors ranging from manufacturing to financial services, hospitality and education.

She has worked in journalism, public relations, advertising and communications consulting and has run her own business since 2010. She has also lectured in journalism, winning the Midrand Graduate Institute Award for Teaching Excellence in 2013. She has written for publications ranging from Accountancy SA to Acumen Magazine and ghostwritten several best-selling business books and biographies.

Tamara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media from the University of Cape Town and in 2017 was part of the cohort of the Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa Executive Financial Journalism training programme (NQF 7) at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).

She chairs the board of Oasis Haven South Africa, a non-profit organisation and registered child and youth care centre, and in her spare time enjoys pottering in her vegetable garden and taking far too many photos of her husband, son and two cats.

Tamara is supported by a team of professional partners and associates in administration, project management, publishing, design and creative direction, strategy, videography, photography, public relations and media liaison, and web development and SEO, among other things.
